I am a Houston-based oil painter drawn to the quiet power of color, texture, and form. My paintings explore the tension between softness and strength, layering thin washes of color with textured media to create dreamlike, luminous surfaces
Influenced by color field painting and the raw materiality of paint and canvas, I build abstractions that mingle with natural forms and the human figure—especially women, whose presence I depict as both ethereal and strong. My work is meant to feel like a pause: dreamy yet grounded, inviting viewers to linger and sense the quiet strength beneath the surface.
I study at the Glassell School of Art, where my work has been featured in student exhibitions, as well as numerous Kinder Morgan shows in Houston. Each new series is a continuation of my exploration of the emotional and tactile possibilities of paint itself
